Composition: VCOLD is a self-leveling, non-shrinkage grout with a very high strength rating. It sets and hardens very quickly.

Function: It is used for specialized construction projects such as pouring slope protection for river banks, seawall wave barriers, construction in cold storage facilities, bridge decks, highway surfaces, and airport runways.

Construction Instructions

Surface Preparation:

The concrete or steel surface needs to be cleaned and free of oil, grease, and other contaminants.

The coffa should be securely installed to prevent leakage.

Porous surfaces need to be pre-soaked but should not have standing water.

Mixing Equipment:

For small batches, a handheld mixer with a mixing paddle rotating at 450-550 rpm can be used.

For larger batches, a forced-action mixer with appropriate volume capacity is required.

Mixing Method:

Pour cold water into the dry VCOLD mix. Mix for at least 3 minutes to achieve uniformity and flow consistency.

Application:

The high-strength grout should be applied immediately after mixing, with a working time of approximately 20-30 minutes at a temperature of 25 ± 20C. The grout should be poured continuously.

Maintenance:

After 6 hours of application, the surface of the grout needs to be kept moist by spraying or covering it with wet burlap for three days.

Cleaning:

Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with water. Hardened grout can only be removed by mechanical means.

Shelf life: 18 Months

Specifications

Flow spread of the mortar mixture is from 22-30cm (checked with Suttard tube).

It achieves very early strength and very high final strength.

The compressive strength of M350 mortar is achieved within 6 hours, M500 within 1 day, and M800 within 1 week.

The mortar has high waterproofing and corrosion resistance properties, as well as crack resistance and excellent carbonation resistance.

It has excellent self-flow and self-leveling properties. It is stable in volume and does not shrink.

When separated or water stratified, it is not corroded and has no harmful properties.

The allowable construction time is 10-20 minutes depending on the ambient temperature and water temperature during construction.

The bulk density is about 2.2kg/lit after mixing.

Mixing ratio:

Water mixing ratio: 14-15% by weight

For 5kg packaging, use 0.7 liters of water.

For 25kg packaging, use 3.7 liters of water.

The mortar mixture after mixing has a volume of 13 liters.

Construction temperature:

Minimum temperature: 30°C. Maximum temperature: 40°C.
