VN SEAL 104 is a two-component polymer-based waterproofing paint.

Applications:

Specifically designed to waterproof areas that are prone to cracking and require high elasticity.

Specifications:

Material consumption for 1m2 with 1mm thickness is 1-1.5kg depending on the surface area.

Adhesion strength to the substrate ≥ 1 N/mm2.

▪ Working time at 25°C: 30-40 minutes.

▪ Working temperature: 5-45°C.

Construction Preparation:

The base of the wall (raised by 25cm) and the beam wall must be built and finished with plaster. If applicable, the technical box (electrical box) must also be built and finished with plaster.

Cleaning the floor: The floor surface must be thoroughly cleaned. Any debris left from construction or wall plastering must be removed.

Mixing waterproofing compound: Mix the waterproofing compound using a mortar mixer or a handheld mixer with a stirring blade at a speed of 450-550 rotations per minute (rpm).

Mix the pre-measured components A and B together for a minimum of 3 minutes to ensure a uniform mixture.

Waterproofing:

Step 1: Waterproof the wall and floor joints Apply the waterproofing compound along the entire length of the wall and floor joints. When applying, add fiberglass mesh to prevent cracks in the wall joints during use.

Step 2: Waterproof the floor surface Apply the first layer of waterproofing compound to the entire floor surface and roll it up 20-25cm along the base of the wall. Apply in a vertical direction (roll from the inside to the outside).

Then let it dry for 3 hours (use a fan if the room is not well-ventilated).

Apply the second layer of waterproofing compound to the entire floor surface and roll it up 20-25cm along the base of the wall.

This time, apply in a horizontal direction (perpendicular to the first layer to ensure complete coverage of the floor surface).

Then let it dry for 6-8 hours.

Check waterproofing work: By immersing in water After the second layer of waterproofing compound has dried, immerse the floor surface in water for 3 days to check the waterproofing work (the waterproofing work meets the requirements if no water seeps through to the underside of the floor). Protect the waterproofing layer with a protective coat After completing the water immersion test and confirming that the floor is not leaking, apply a protective coat to protect the waterproofing layer before continuing with tile installation.

Cleaning: Clean all tools and equipment with water immediately after use.

Once the waterproofing compound has hardened, it can only be removed mechanically.
